Annet Mahendru
Mahendru's parents are Russian and a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent of German Russian and English and is also fluent in French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, as well as a Russian mother. When she was 11 she choreographed and performed a dance which earned her a German television appearance. Her performance was a Russian snow girl who transformed into a fun Indian dancer. She completed high-school at the age of 11 in New York before earning a Bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. She studied improvisation and comedy in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her parents were a Hindu and Indian father Ghanshan K Mahendru. She also had an Indian father, and a Russian mom Olga. She was only 13 when her parents divorced. Her father moved the household to East Meadow New York. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable TV performance. She played a recurring character in the Fox series The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
